Located about 30km to the east of Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay is among the wonderful natural wonders with many stunning islands and beautiful white sand beaches like Quan Lan beach and Van Don Island, however, it is less touristic due to its harder-to-reach location and fewer accessible caves.
Visiting Bai Tu Long Bay is a peaceful experience. You will have a chance to enjoy kayaking through some awesome caves, swimming in turquoise waters and also discovering Vung Vieng fishing village to understand the local’s life.
The bay is also home to the large Bai Tu Long National Park, one of the representative areas of marine conservation in Vietnam. It attracts a large number of both domestic and foreign tourists coming to see several species of fauna and flora.
Bai Tu Long Bay is a great place to visit all year round. However, it gets pretty cold from December to February and from June to September, there are some storms and typhoons. Therefore, the best time to come there is the rest when the weather is fairly dry and pleasant, the sky is clear to admire everything perfectly.
The trip from Hanoi will take you about 4 hours to reach there by car. Taking a boat cruise is the best way to take advantage of Bai Tu Long Bay. You have a chance to experience the stunning bay and have the unforgettable memories.
