ITINERARY

Day 1: HCMC – Mekong Delta – Can Tho.
This morning meet your guide at your hotel lobby then drive to Cai Be Town (Tien Giang Province). Along the way, stop at a candy factory and orchard garden where you have an opportunity to listen to traditional music. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at a riverside restaurant, then cross the river by motorized boat to visit some fluvial islands and explore the countryside by bicycle. Your driver will meet you at Vinh Long pier and take you to Can Tho City for the night.
Meals: Lunch.
Accommodation: Hotel in Can Tho.

Day 2: Can Tho – Rach Gia – Phu Quoc by speed boat.
Wake early and leave the hotel to visit the famous Cai Rang floating market by motorized boat. Continue the boat ride to visit the Mekong Delta’s famous fruit orchards and sample the fresh, exotic fruit. Then drive direct to Rach Gia and get on speed boat to Phu Quoc. On arrival, your driver picks you up to hotel in town.

Day 3: Phu Quoc Snorkeling (join in group).
Note: From 15th of May until end of October we are going only south trip for diving and snorkeling.
Today you will join in snorkeling tour to snorkel in clear crystal waters teeming with many species of marine life which are set against the colorful coral gardens.
Dive excursions start approximately 7:45 am. The guide and driver collect you from by shuttle bus and transfer to either the harbour at Duong Dong (if diving in the north), or to An Thoi (if diving in the south) due to seasons.
Off the beach you get back to the hotel around 17:00. Enjoy your leisure time to relax or explore night market in downtown.
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch.

Day 4: Phu Quoc – Free at leisure.
Today will be wonderful time on some of Vietnam’s best beaches. You can simply laze on beautiful sandy beach or get on a bike to explore the nearby fishing village and make fun with waving kids on road sides. An ideal way of spending your last afternoon in Phu Quoc is to relax in a bar by beachfront while watching sunset over the ocean.

Day 5: Phu Quoc – Ha Tien by speed boat – Drive to Phnom Penh.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Bai Vong Pier to catch speed boat to Ha Tien, continue a short drive to Ha Tien border crossing where you will farewell Vietnam to enter Cambodia. Visas are easily obtained at the border between Vietnam and Cambodia and cost (including the processing fee). Next you will meet your Cambodian tour guide and driver on the other side, Prek Chak, and then spend more 3 hour drive to Phnom Penh – the capital of Cambodia. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax.

Day 6: Many faces of Phnom Penh.
Breakfast at your hotel. The capital city of Phnom Penh was once considered the loveliest city of Indochina. Despite its recent turbulent history, it still maintains considerable charm. A city tour acquaints us with some major sights of Phnom Penh. Visit the Tuol Sleng Prison Museum and the notorious “Killing Fields” of Choeung Ek are not to be missed. A visit to these sights provides a deep insight into the painful bloody rule of the Khmer Rouge. Afternoon, you will enjoy a visit Royal Palace, now home to the royal family. At the northern area of the palace grounds is Silver Pagoda, which today serves as a repository for religious and cultural treasures; the architecture of the various buildings in the complex is extraordinary, and the National Museum, housing the world’s premier collection of Khmer art, including bronzes, ceramics and sculpture, and chronicling Cambodia’s history and culture.

Day 7: Phnom Penh – Drive to Siem Reap – Phare Circus.
Today you travel to Siem Reap, the gateway into the ancient Angkor temples. After breakfast your driver will meet you at your hotel and take you on the 5 hour drive along the Mekong River. The journey offers an excellent opportunity to observe rural Cambodia up-close. Stop along the way and visit a market, where every assortment of street food is available, including the Khmer favorite: fried spiders! Once you arrive in Siem Reap, check in at the hotel then enjoy free time to relax or take a leisure walk to Central Market and explore the town by your own.
In the evening, enjoy Phare, The Cambodian Circus - Siem Reap's most unique, authentic, top rated evening entertainment.

Day 8: Siem Reap – Visit Angkor Temples.
Rise up early for a transfer by tuk tuk to the magnificent Angkor Wat. The trip is designed for you to see “the spiritual Temple reflex on the water” at dawn - the haunting, cooler and less crowded moment. As the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Angkor Wat where the Hindu God Vishnu is dedicated was constructed by Suryavarman II who reigned Cambodia from 1113 to 1152. The plan of the pyramidal conception of the temple combined with spaces, alleys and ditches is an ancient masterpiece of architectural design and construction.
Return to hotel for breakfast then continue to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its majestic doors and artifacts. Your next visit will be the monumental temple of Bayon, the heart of Angkor Thom and known for the hundreds of smiling faces that grace its towers. Move to the Terrace of the Elephants, a platform where King Jayavarman once surveyed his army. Close by is the Terrace of Leper Kings, which includes a statue depicting Yana, the Hindu god of death. Leaving Angkor Thom by its North Gate for Preah Khan (Sacred Sword), one of Angkor’s largest temples, constructed in the 12th century by Jayavarman VII. Then it’s a short drive to one of the most loved temples of all - Ta Prohm, a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty with its giant trees that have grown there for centuries.
Later this afternoon you will return to your hotel where you spend the rest of the day as you please.

Day 9: Siem Reap – Horse ride Kampong Phluk.
Notes: The itinerary to Kampong Phluk subjects to change based on the season (water levels) and weather.
Today your driver will pick you up at the hotel then transfer you to Happy Ranch. The horses will take you on a journey to places that are otherwise unreachable, through local countryside villages, scenic rice fields. An authentic taste of the real Khmer lifestyle viewed from horseback.
Then, continue driving to Kampong Phluk – a floating village on the Tonle Sap.
You will take a boat trip through the houses on stilts, canals and mangroves. It is really unique experience that exposes you to the hardships and tribulations facing the locals on a day to day basis. Enjoy the sunset over the lake before transfer back to hotel where you spend the rest of time on your own.

Day 10: Siem Reap Departure.
Today you are free until get picked up and transferred to airport to catch your flight. End of the trip.
