Biking Mekong Delta - 4 Days

Day 1: HCMC – My Tho – Ben Tre.
Enjoy a unique biking trip through the Mekong countryside, cycling through back roads to discover the local life and culture. At 8:00 AM, your driver and guide will meet you at the hotel and drive you in the support van to the Mekong Delta. Arrive in Long An nearly afternoon and take a two hour bike ride through the beautiful countryside to My Tho. Enjoy your lunch at local restaurant then we drive direct to Ben Tre where you will embark on motorboat and cruise along Ben Tre River – one of tributaries of Mekong River, sight-seeing lively activities along river as fishing, water transferring; visit one of the plenty of coconut processing workshops where coconut candies are made and have a chance to learn the coconut candies making process located along canal. Turn on natural scissors creeks where they look smaller and smaller to go to village. Take a walk to family workshop making sleep mats. Afterward, cruise back to Hung Vuong pier where your driver takes you to hotel. Stay overnight in Ben Tre.

Day 2: Ben Tre – Tra Vinh – Soc Trang.
Your biking guide will tailor-make bike routes which you will be the first cyclists to cycle on. Explore hamlets on paths and meet extremely friendly farmers on your ways crossing rice paddy. Stopping at some old Khmer Temples in Tra Vinh and continue biking on back roads into villages with amazing landscape and learning Khmer cultures in countryside. See the Bat pagoda before checking in to the hotel and explore Soc Trang by night.
Biking: 30 - 80km (there are couple options for you to choose from).
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch.
Accommodations: Hotel in Soc Trang.

Day 3: Soc Trang – Phung Hiep – Can Tho.
This morning check out hotel and you continue setting out for full day trip. The first stop is Khmer museum then our minivan taking you to starting point for a morning bike ride to Phung Hiep town. After your lunch in small town, you will continue your cycle ride to Can Tho city with 2 options: a long distance biking is 25km and a short ride is about 10 to 13km.
Arrive in Can Tho in the late afternoon and check in your hotel. Spend rest of day at relaxing by the pool and savoring the tranquility of the Mekong’s countryside and watch the sunset over the winding river.

Day 4: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating market – HCMC.
Wake early and leave the hotel to visit the famous Cai Rang floating market by motorized boat. Continue the boat ride to visit the Mekong Delta’s famous fruit orchards and sample the fresh, exotic fruit. Then venture deeper into the country-side, passing traditional houses made of wood and palm leaves as you observe the activities of the local people. Next, check out and drive back to Saigon, arriving in the afternoon. Tour ends.
