ITINERARY

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival.
Welcome to Vietnam’s financial hub: Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). Arrive in the late morning and enjoy an orientation tour through Saigon’s bustling streets en route to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to recover from jet lag and explore the city on your own.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City Tour.
Enjoy a full day to tour Saigon’s diverse attractions. Start with a visit to Saigon’s China Town, Binh Tay Market (Great Market) & Thien Hau Pagoda. Stop to visit the Fine Art Museum located in a beautiful colonial house combining French and Chinese styles; it presents a large collection of fine artworks from paintings to historical objects. Browse through the amazing array of goods at Ben Thanh Market. Stop for lunch then continue on the city tour with a visit to the War Remnants Museum. Learn about Vietnam’s recent history at the Reunification Palace followed by the nearby neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral and the City's Centre Post Office before passing by the ornate Opera Theatre and the City Hall.

Day 3: HCMC - Mekong Delta (Cai Be) - Can Tho.
Today you leave Saigon and travel to the Mekong River Delta. Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel before driving to the riverside town, Cai Be. Along the way, stop at a candy factory and orchard garden, where you have an opportunity to listen to traditional music. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at a riverside restaurant, then cross the river by motorized boat to visit some fluvial islands and explore the countryside by bicycle. Your driver will meet you at Vinh Long pier and take you to Can Tho City for the night.

Day 4: Can Tho - Fly to Danang - Hoian.
Wake early and leave the hotel to visit the famous Cai Rang floating market by motor boat. Continue the boat ride to visit the Mekong Delta’s famous orchards and sample the fresh, exotic fruit. Then venture deeper into the country side, passing traditional houses made of wood and palm leaves as you observe the activities of the local people in the early morning. Return to Can Tho for breakfast and then drive to the airport for your flight to Danang. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Hoian for check-in. Rest of the day, free at your leisure.

Day 5: Hoian Walking Tour.
Immerse yourself in the tranquility and charm of this sleepy riverside town. From the 16th to 18th centuries Hoian was a thriving international port frequented by Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders, who came to trade in the high quality silk still produced in the region. Today, Hoian is a relaxing resort popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, skilled tailors and numerous cafes. Take a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the ancient town centre, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year old Tan Ky ancestral house and the famous Japanese Bridge. Back to your hotel and you are free at your leisure.

Day 6: Hoian - Free at leisure.
Today you are at leisure on beach or go shopping on your own interest.

Day 7: Hoian - Danang - Fly to Bangkok.
Have breakfast at your hotel and then drive to the airport for your flight to Bangkok - Thailand’s bustling capital. Your guide and driver will meet you outside the baggage claim of the airport and take you to your hotel in the city center. In the evening, enjoy the dinner on the cruise along Chao Phraya River.

Day 8: Bangkok - Floating Market - City Tour.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will leave Bangkok for Damnoen floating market which is about 110km West of Bangkok. On the way you will visit farmhouse and watch local people making sugar from coconut. Once you arrive in Damnoen floating market you will be impressed by various boats with different shapes and sizes used by local to carry their goods. You will get on a sampan boat to go around this colorful floating market to see how people here living, selling and buying goods. In the afternoon, you will start the half day tour in Bangkok. Your first visit is The Grand Palace, which is the official Palace of The King Of Siam since 1782 made up of numerous buildings, halls, pavilions set around open lawns, gardens and courtyards. It is located on the bank of The Chao Phraya River. Inside the Grand Palace complex is Wat Phra Kaeo or Temple of the Emerald Buddha – the most beautiful and sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand. The following visit is Wat Pho – the temple of reclining Buddha. The temple has a long list of credits: The oldest and largest temple in Bangkok, the longest reclining Buddha and the largest collection of Buddha images in Thailand, the first public education institution. Then cross Chao Phraya River to Thon Buri to visit Wat Arun which is known as Temple of Dawn – one of the best well-known sites in Bangkok. It is best seen from the opposite side of the river. After visiting this Wat, back to your hotel.

Day 9: Bangkok - Fly to Mandalay.
Today, you will leave Bangkok for Mandalay. After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, you will be driven Sagaing Hill where you will learn about the schooling of monks, visit Budda Cave, Uminthonze Pagoda, Sunooponnyashin Pagoda and finally take in the panoramic view of Mandalay.
The next stop is Amarapura, famous for Mahagandaryone Monastery and the best place to experience the daily lives of the monks in Mandalay. Walk over Ubein Wooden Bridge, the longest teakwood of its type and enjoy great sunset here.

Day 10: Mandalay Sightseeing Tour.
Known as the hub of Buddhism in Myanmar, Mandalay has realm of stupas, monks and monasteries. The most fascinating visit will be the time you witness monks during their worship and daily meals.  
Embarking on a private boat upstream to visit Mingun, famed for its huge and incomplete Pahtodawgyi Pagoda and Mingun Bell, the 90-ton ringing bell.
In the afternoon, visit Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery - noted for its exquisite woodcarvings, gold leaf beating workshop and Kuthodaw Pagoda - known for containing the world’s largest book and conclude the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill to watch the sunset and the panoramic view of the city.

Day 11: Mandalay - Fly to Bagan.
Today you will take a morning flight to Bagan. Bagan is Myanmar’s archaeological wonderland where over 3,000 ancient temples blossom from the countryside. Start your tour with a trip to the bustling Nyang U Market in Old Bagan then explore the beautiful, gold leaf Shwezigon Pagoda and learn about Burmese Buddhist traditions. Continue your tour with a visit to Ananda Temple, stopping along the way on the Bagan plains to admire some of the surrounding temples. In the afternoon, take a tour of a local lacquer ware workshop and learn how this traditional piece of art is made.

Day 12: Discover Bagan Temples.
After breakfast, enjoy an exotic horse cart ride to one of the biggest temples in Bagan: Nan Paya Pagoda and many other interesting sites nearby. Continue with sightseeing to Minkaba Gubyaukyi Temple, take note of the architectural difference in MyaZedi Pagoda before heading to Manuha Temple. The highlight of today is the panoramic sunset view from the second highest pagoda of Bagan, the ShweSandaw Pagoda.

Day 13: Bagan - Fly to Heho - Pindaya - Inle Lake.
Today you will take the flight from Naung U to Heho. Upon arrival, take a nice drive to Pindaya through the picturesque countryside of the Shan State. Visit Pindaya’s limestone cave with its maze of chambers displaying more than 8,000 Buddha statues and local handicraft workshops producing Shan paper made from mulberry bark. They also make traditional umbrellas made from the same paper that are used by monks all around the country.
Then drive to the pier on Inle Lake, the second largest lake in Myanmar is located 900 meters above sea level and is home to a unique one-leg rowing technique of the Intha people for a motorboat to your hotel, check in and relax.

Day 14: Inle Lake - Indein - Inle Lake.
This morning, visit the “5 Day Market” which is held in different villages surrounding the lake. This is definitely a fascinating place to enjoy the scene of local tribes in their colorful clothes and exotic market atmosphere.
After lunch, the boat will take you to the beautiful temple of Indein, located on the hill overlooking the lake. It is relaxing to walk along the corridors and enjoy the giant columns that have been left to the nature for centuries.

Day 15: Inle - Heho - Fly to Yangon - City Tour.
After breakfast, return to Yangon, check into the hotel and continue your guided city tour exploring Yangon and its highlights. Visit the famous Sule Pagoda, in the heart of Yangon and The Scott Market, now the main tourist destination where you can find antique, Burmese handicrafts & jewelry shops, art galleries & clothing stores. At sunset, discover the most outstanding pagoda in Yangon, Shwedagon Pagoda. This golden pagoda is really a must see while you are in Myanmar.
The highlight for this evening is a dinner in Karaweik Palace overlooking to the Royal Lake and Shwedagon Tower. You will be served a dinner of fine Burmese food followed by an amazing cultural show.

Day 16: Yangon Departure.
After breakfast, you are free until your departure time. Your driver will transfer you to Yangon International Airport for your departure flight.
