About 3km northeast of the city center, Hon Chong Island (Husband Island) is compiled of large rocks of various shapes, stacked together and running from the shore to the sea. Near Hon Chong to the east of the hill, there is a smaller group of rocked called Hon Vo Island (Wife Island).
There are many interesting legends around Hon Chong Island, one of the strangest things is on a huge stone of the highest cliff of Chong Island, there remains a 5-fingerprint of a huge hand, relating that right from the beginning of the mountain creation, had it yet been solidly shaped, but there was a touch by a very big hand, as a result leaving its deep imprint until now.
Hon Chong Island overlooks the ocean from the cliff, seeming to fall down in any minute yet remaining stable. Its large boulders are combined to form such an imbalance position that they shock anyone who glances at them for the first time.
