After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up and transferred to Perfume Pagoda, one of the most important to the Mahayana Buddhists of Vietnam. Enjoy an interesting 2-hour drive seeing daily Vietnamese village life. Arrive at the Yen Vi River, take a 1.5 hour rowing boat trip on the Yen stream via the Den Trinh, Presentation Temple.
Continue the journey to the foot of Huong Tich Mountain, from where a stone flagged path takes you to Thien Tru Pagoda and marks the start of the journey to 'heaven'. The trek to Huong Tich grotto is both interesting and rewarding. On reaching the top, you will be rewarded with the stunning view. Climb down the mountain, join your waiting sampan and relish the much-deserved two-hour trip back up the river. Come back Hanoi centre in the late afternoon.
