First double-decker bus opens for tourists in Hanoi

The first double-decker bus named Hop on-Hop off officially goes into operation today, offering its passengers a tour to 30 famous destinations of Hanoi City. The City Tour Bus can carry 80 passengers and meets the European emission standards (Euro 4). The bus’s low floor system is convenient for the elderly, children and disabled to get on and off.

There are 3 types of ticket for tourists to choose from:
+ 300,000 VND/ 4 hours (~13 USD).
+ 450,000 VND/ 24 hours (~20 USD).
+ 650,000 VND/ 48 hours (~29 USD).

- Weekend (because of walking streets): Hanoi Opera House - Trang Tien - Ngo Quyen - Ly Thuong Kiet - Quang Trung - Trang Thi - Dien Bien Phu (passing the Vietnam Military History Museum) - Doc Lap (passing the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum) - Hoang Van Thu - Hung Vuong - Thanh Nien (through the West Lake and Truc Bach) - Yen Phu (next to the Pan Pacific Hotel) - Thanh Nien - Hung Vuong - Phan Dinh Phung - Hoang Dieu (passing the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long) - Le Hong Phong - Hung Vuong - Nguyen Thai Hoc - Van Mieu (passing the Temple of Litterature) - Quoc Tu Giam - Ton Duc Thang - Nguyen Thai Hoc - Cua Nam - Phan Boi Chau - Ly Thuong Kiet (passing Melia Hotel) - Phan Chu Trinh - Hai Ba Trung - Le Thanh Tong - Hanoi Opera House.

In his opening remark, Nguyen The Hung, Hanoi Vice Mayor said, the Hanoi City Tour Hop on-Hop off is a convenient service, helping tourists travel and visit well-known destinations in the city on the double-decker buses.
