In Van Phuc village, you will be impressed by the typical manner of an ancient village in the north of Vietnam with banyan trees, wells, communal houses, local artisans and sound of power-looms everywhere. You can also see how the traditional silk is woven from the natural silk material, giving a soft, smooth touch and sophisticated looking which you can find in nowhere.

Coming there, tourists can find ready-to-wear clothing such as dresses, shirts, and ties, as well as handicrafts and souvenirs at reasonable prices. A visit to Van Phuc village makes you feel like you have stepped back in time thanks to its rather authentic setting. It is also a perfect attraction for those looking to escape the bustling and chaotic life.
Nowadays, although the weaving has been mechanized for higher productivity, there are still simple manual looms in some houses in the village which help tourists contemplate the genuinely traditional Vietnamese way of making silk.
